Hi I’m Carolyn.
In the mid noughties I worked in a great health shop in Hawthorn. We sold these fun, cute and very practical reusable, mesh grocery bags called Econetbags.
I LOVED them! They were colourful, strong, durable and best of all light as a feather making them incredibly handy.
Every one of my friends got one of these bags for their birthday.
I used them for a decade and in 2018 I went online to purchase a couple more bags via the Econet bag website. I then learnt that the business was potentially for sale as the lovely lady who made them had sadly passed away.
I immediately thought…. I love those bags… I would love to carry on that passion and legacy for this awesome product.
And after a bit of negotiation Econetbags became my little business.
I renamed and rebranded the bags emeshi, giving them a new look and vibe.
So welcome to

I’m thrilled to share all that they have to offer with you!
They encourage you to reduce using single-use bags. (I take them everywhere, even clothes shopping). Taking them travelling to separate your shoes, laundry and other things is also a handy trick.
They are also great for carrying wet stuff at the pool and beach as sand just falls straight through them and they dry in a flash.
emeshi bags are super light and fit in any pocket, handbag, bum bag, car console etc. They are strong, stretchy and hold a tonne of stuff.
